Free WiFi & Internet Bill Generator Online

A WiFi bill generator creates a professional monthly internet invoice that mirrors the format used by Indian ISPs — JioFiber, Airtel Xstream Fiber, BSNL Bharat Fiber, ACT Fibernet, Hathway, Tata Play Fiber, Excitel, and local cable broadband operators. Fill in the customer details, plan speed, billing period, and charges; the tool calculates the GST-inclusive total and gives you a clean, print-ready PDF in under thirty seconds.

Whether you need a broadband bill for office reimbursement, a clean copy to replace a lost original from your ISP, a record for your work-from-home internet allowance, or a billing tool for your own small ISP or cable operation, the generator handles all standard formats — monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual plans, with limited, unlimited, or FUP packages.

What Is a WiFi or Internet Bill?

A WiFi or internet bill — also called a broadband invoice or ISP bill — is the monthly statement an Internet Service Provider issues to a customer recording the services provided during a billing cycle and the amount payable. In India, internet services are classified as telecom services under HSN/SAC code 9984 and attract a flat 18% GST, distinguishing internet bills from many other consumer bills where GST varies by item.

A standard internet bill carries the ISP's identity and GSTIN, the customer's account or CAF number, the tariff plan with its speed and package type, the billing period from-to dates, recurring charges for the plan, optional CPE (modem or router) rental, the GST breakup, the total payable, and the payment due date. The same broad format is used by Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, BSNL, ACT, Hathway, and every smaller ISP — only the branding and rate plans differ.

When You Need an Internet Bill

Office reimbursement claims

Many employers offer a broadband or internet allowance to salaried employees, especially those working from home. A clean monthly ISP bill is the required supporting document for HR or finance reimbursement.

Work-from-home setup

Companies with hybrid policies often reimburse internet costs as part of WFH stipends. Maintain a clean monthly trail to claim consistently.

Business GST input credit

If your internet connection is in your business's name with the company GSTIN, the 18% GST charged on your monthly bill is eligible as input tax credit — provided you keep proper invoices on file.

Replacing a lost or missing bill

If your ISP's customer portal is down, the original PDF was deleted, or the email is unfindable, recreate a clean copy from your memory and bank statement.

Small ISP or cable operator billing

Local cable broadband resellers and building-level WiFi providers can use this as a day-to-day billing tool for their subscribers, with consistent branding.

Tax filing and expense records

Self-employed professionals, freelancers, and consultants need internet bills as expense proof for the portion of internet used for business purposes.

What Every Valid Internet Bill Must Include

Indian ISPs follow a standard set of fields driven by telecom regulations, GST law, and consumer protection norms. Our template includes all of them.

ISP details

Internet service provider name, registered address, contact, website, and GSTIN. The GSTIN is mandatory for input tax credit eligibility on the customer side.

Customer details

Customer name, billing address, phone number, email, and the unique customer account or CAF number.

Bill number and date

A sequential invoice number and the date the bill is generated. ISPs typically issue a new invoice number every billing cycle.

Billing period

The from-date and to-date covering the cycle for which the bill is raised. Monthly is most common, but quarterly, half-yearly, and annual cycles are also standard.

Tariff plan details

Plan name, plan speed (10 Mbps to 1 Gbps), package type (Limited, Unlimited, or FUP), and the billing cycle (Monthly, Quarterly, Half-Yearly, Annual).

Recurring charges

Subscription fee for the plan during the billing period, before tax.

CPE rental and other charges

Optional rental for modem, router, ONT, or other customer-premises equipment. One-time charges like installation or shifting are also listed here.

GST breakup at 18%

CGST and SGST at 9% each for intra-state service, or IGST at 18% for inter-state service. The breakup must be shown separately, not just the total tax.

Total amount payable

Subtotal plus GST, less any discounts or previous credit balance, equals the total amount due.

Due date and payment instructions

When payment is due and the channels available — UPI, net banking, credit card, debit card, IMPS, NEFT, cheque, or cash.

GST on Internet and Telecom Services

Unlike healthcare services or many essential goods, internet and telecom services are not GST-exempt in India. Every wired broadband, fibre-to-home, wireless, and mobile internet service attracts 18% GST under HSN/SAC code 9984 (telecommunication services). This rate is uniform across the country and across providers.

For residential customers, this 18% GST is part of the cost and cannot be reclaimed. For business customers, however, the GST is eligible as input tax credit (ITC) provided three conditions are met: the connection must be in the business's registered name, the bill must carry the business's GSTIN, and the bill must be raised by a GST-registered ISP (which all major ISPs are). Keep these bills filed properly — they are the supporting documents during a GST audit.

Within the 18% GST, the breakup depends on whether the service is intra-state (provider and customer in the same state) or inter-state. Intra-state bills show CGST 9% + SGST 9%; inter-state bills show IGST 18%. Most consumer broadband is intra-state.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a WiFi or internet bill?

A WiFi or internet bill is a monthly invoice issued by an Internet Service Provider (ISP) such as JioFiber, Airtel Xstream, BSNL, ACT Fibernet, or Hathway, recording the broadband services provided to a customer during a billing period. It includes the account number, tariff plan, billing period, recurring charges, GST, and total payable amount.

Can I use this WiFi bill for office reimbursement?

Yes. Many companies offer an internet or broadband reimbursement component, especially for employees working from home. The generated bill includes all standard fields HR and finance teams expect: ISP name, customer details, plan, billing period, total amount, and GST breakup. Always verify your company's exact format and policy before submission.

Is GST applicable on internet and broadband bills?

Yes. Telecom and internet services in India are taxed at 18% GST under HSN/SAC code 9984. Every ISP must charge 18% GST on the recurring plan fee and any CPE (router/modem) rental. Business customers can claim input tax credit on this GST if the connection is in the business GSTIN and the bill carries the business name and GSTIN.

Which ISPs are supported?

Our generator supports any Indian ISP because you enter the provider name and details yourself. Common ISPs include JioFiber, Airtel Xstream Fiber, BSNL Bharat Fiber, ACT Fibernet, Hathway, Tata Play Fiber, Excitel, GTPL, and local cable broadband operators. The format adjusts based on the plan speed, package type, and billing cycle you select.

What details should an internet bill include?

A valid internet bill should include the ISP name and address, customer name and address, customer account number (CAF), bill number and date, billing period (from-to), tariff plan name, plan speed and package type, recurring charges, CPE or equipment rental (if any), GST breakup at 18%, total amount payable, payment due date, and the ISP's GSTIN.

Can I generate WiFi bills for multiple months at once?

Yes. You can generate a separate bill for each billing month and download them as individual PDFs. For office reimbursement and clean record-keeping, separate monthly bills are preferred over consolidated annual receipts because they match the actual billing cycle.

Can a small ISP or cable operator use this for billing customers?

Yes. Local cable broadband operators, building-level WiFi resellers, and small regional ISPs can use our generator as a day-to-day billing tool. You can upload your own logo, enter your business GSTIN, and produce consistent, professional bills for every subscriber.
